Pakistan Independence Day Conference to Focus on Women, Drones, Talibans, Investment

A conference highlighting the outstanding issues currently facing Pakistanis presented by the Pakistan Council of DFW on the occasion of Pakistan's 64th Independence Day. The seminar will focus on Pakistan's foreign policy, with special attention to its relationship with the United States; the emancipation of women in Pakistan; and commercial & trading opportunities that need to be broadened to stabilize and strengthen Pakistan economy. This seminar, the first of its kind, would be addressed by thinkers, scholars and activists with expertise in their fields. Ms. Iffat Imran Gardezi, the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Pakistan Embassy in Washington DC, will be the key note speaker of the conference. For a complete list of speakers, click HERE.
