The Dallas Peace Center's Speakers Bureau  provides a wide range of dedicated peacemakers to promote dialogue, education, and understanding. Our speakers cover a broad range of peace and justice topics that can be tailored to your interests. We also provide training in peacekeeping, conflict resolution, and non-violent communication. Please refer to our list of speakers, topics, and workshops for more information.

You choose the speaker for your meeting, workshop or event.

The Dallas Peace Center will provide references and background information on speakers best suited to your interests.

FAQ

Q. My organization has very limited funds, but would like to book a speaker. Can we still work with you?

A. The Dallas Peace Center will be happy to come to an agreement that you are comfortable with, either financially or with an in-kind donation.

Q. Who takes care of travel arrangements?

A. This is something the DPC will need to decide-it will probably depend on the speaker and where the event is located

Q. How does the DPC get paid?

A. The DPC accepts cash, checks, credit card, or money order

Q. What if the speaker is unable to attend because of circumstances beyond our control or the event is cancelled?

A. Whenever possible the DPC will try and reschedule the speaker. If that is not possible a full refund will be made if no expenses have been incurred and we receive a cancelation notice within 24 hours prior to the event.

Q. What items, if any, will the speaker require for the event?

A. Most speakers will require a public address system and may have other needs for audio/visual presentation.

Q. Who will be in contact with me after I sign the contract?

A. Either our media director or our administrative assistant will be in contact with you and available to answer any questions you may have.

Q. How do I locate and book a speaker?

A. Review our list of speaker biographies and topics. Then use the contact us tab, send an email or telephone to discuss the date, time and other details
